Philip Corner

Philip Corner is born in 1933 in New York City. He is a composer of interdisciplinary works and studied at Columbia University, Paris Conservatoire and privately with great virtuosos. Corner has taught at New Lincoln School, New School for Social Research and Rutgers University before he moved to Italy in 1992. He was a resident composer and musician with the Judson Dance Theatre in the early 60s and in the same period he became associated with Fluxus.
